AeroPress Coffee Instructions

  Step Description
  Heat Heat fresh water to 200°F (or bring to a boil and let it stand for 30 seconds).
  Set-Up Place the AeroPress plunger upside down on a flat surface. Attach the lower chamber to the plunger. Insert a paper filter into the cap and wet it with hot water to help it stick.
  Measure Add 20 grams (about 4 tablespoons) of ground coffee into the chamber. Shake to level the grounds.
  Pour Pour 200 ml of hot water into the chamber. Stir for 10 seconds to ensure all the grounds are saturated.
  Invert Twist the cap onto the chamber and carefully invert the AeroPress over a sturdy mug.
  Plunge Press the plunger gently and steadily until it reaches the coffee grounds.
  Serve Remove the cap, discard the grounds, and rinse the AeroPress. Dilute the coffee with water if desired, and serve semi-hot.
